First Meeting of the Illinois Peer-to-Peer Network

We’re starting a monthly Peer-to-Peer Network Zoom meeting and this will be our first meeting. The meeting is not topic-based - we want to hear from you and find out what you need to get your work done.

It’s important to get together now because:

  1. Three states now have licensing standards for outdoor, nature-based (ONB) preschool programs and the national movement is only picking up steam.  We want to convene a peer-to-peer network to talk about our community's needs in order to create an advisory council of experts to teach our state about ONB best practices.

  2. Governor Pritzker has initiated a new agency to oversee everything related to Early Childhood Education, projected to open in 2027.  The development of the new agency is a public process. Nature-based educators should be part of the conversation about what early childhood education looks like in our state.

Fill out the form at the link below to get on the invite list for the meeting and/or get on the mailing list for future meetings.
